SypherPK Keyboard Lighting

This SypherPK keyboard lighting design is the result of a comment request I received on my Discord channel. I love to make designs based on viewer’s ideas so if you have any please leave a comment below.

If you’re a fan of the popular streamer, SypherPK, then you’re sure to love having this RGB design on your Razer keyboard.

The Lighting Design

Word spelling is something I love to bring into my designs. The SypherPK Razer Chroma design features a visually pleasing background with the spelling of “S-Y-P-H-E-R-P-K” in RGB lighting.

This is a profile that take 8 effect layers to make. Half of which are used to create the spelling of s-y-p-h-e-r-p-k.

Effect Layers

The Background of this design is made up of a subtle Spectrum Cycling effect layer. This layer makes up the red color of the design. There is a very slight transition between shades of red.

The next layer used is a Wave effect layer to create the white highlight you see flashing on the keyboard. Using two transparent nodes to color-snap a white node on the color gradient.

Follow that wave layer with another to make the orange lighting in the design. Place 2 transparent nodes inside 2 orange nodes on the color gradient.

Lastly, the final layer is a gray reactive layer to add a little interest while using the keyboard.

Conclusion

I really loved the way the SypherPK turned out and can be a great design even if you take the spelling layers off.
